Funerals and Memorials

Firstly, if you are reading this page because someone has died, please may I express my condolences to you and your family.

“There may well be tears but there maybe some smiles and laughter too as we learn about a person’s life and what made them special.”

Funerals, Celebration of Life and Memorial Services

The most important aspects of a celebration of life and funeral service, is that your loved one’s life is celebrated and that the character and essence of your lost loved one including their wishes, are reflected in the service.

Your ceremony can be held in various locations such as natural burial grounds, crematoriums, village halls, hotels or even your own garden.

Working with your family to conduct a personalised ceremony, incorporating words, poems, music, hymns, readings, rituals or whatever else you would like to include – there are so many options available to you.

Any personal preferences, family priorities, cultural or religious traditions can be included in the ceremony.

A ceremony that reflects how the person’s life had meaning and how their life will continue to influence others beyond their death, gives a sense of that person living on within the hearts, minds and actions of others.

Together we will chat about your departed loved one’s wishes and life story, to create a celebration of a life ceremony whether that is a burial, cremation, memorial or ashes ceremony.

There is beauty in our lives, even in the darkest of days. When it rains we get colourful rainbows, and when it’s dark we get shining stars.”

Your Wishes, Your Story, Your Memories – Book Download

Death is one of the most difficult chapters in life and one we do not talk about. Many families I support by conducting their loved ones funeral, don’t know their loved ones wishes or parts of their life story.

So often I hear “I wish we knew what they wanted”. It can be distressing for those left behind when not knowing their loved ones wishes.

I have created a free downloadable book for you to complete, so you can write your wishes and your story. I can arrange a copy to be posted to you if you do not have the facilities to print at home.

The cost to print with postage and packing is £6.50, please email or phone to arrange this.

If you have any questions relating to the book, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
